The January 5 episode of iMiXWHATiLIKE!, hosted by Dr. Jared Ball featured a roundtable discussion on New Afrikan Political Prisoner Shaka A. Shakur. Panelists Haki Kweli Shakur, Akili Shakur, Eugene Puryear, and Derek Ford’s discussion revolved mostly around the recently-released documentary and Shaka’s first book, Manifestations of Thought.
They discuss the specifics of Shaka’s case, the latest updates, and why and how the Shaka Shakur Freedom Camapign is about so much more than freeing Shaka A. Shakur but freeing all of our comrades behind bars, the New Afrikan nation, and all exploited and oppressed people.
