Spring 2026 Documentary and Book Tour

Last December, the new documentary “Across Enemy Lines: Shaka A. Shakur,” had its worldwide debut on December 4, 2025. Over 13 groups from Greece to California, New York City to Texas, and Ohio to Vietnam organized watch parties to collectively screen the film, which was recently accepted to the “I, Immigrant International Film Festival (2nd Edition).”

Just days later, on December 13 came the worldwide release and launch of Shaka A. Shakur’s first book, Manifestations of Thought: When the Dragon Comes (Selected Prison Writings), published through 1804 Books and available at the Shaka Store here.

The Shaka Shakur Freedom Campaign – a campaign that is united around freeing all Political Prisoners and Political Prisoners of War – is ecstatic about the warm and growing reception the documentary and book have received thus far. We’re in the process of organizing a Spring 2026 Tour. You can find the events and information listed below and be sure to check back regularly. We also encourage you to reach out to us at Shaka@ShakaShakur.org to see how we can assist you.
