San Francisco: “Across Enemy Lines” Screening & Panel

Thursday, June 11
7:00 – 9:00 pm
518 Valencia St.
San Francisco, CA 94110

Last August, the first iteration of the new Shaka A. Shakur documentary, “Across Enemy Lines,” was first premiered at the Eastside Arts Alliance. After the partial viewing of the incomplete documentary, there was an energizing event (showcasing art by Emory Douglas), organized by Community Liberation Programs, the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, and the Haiti Action Committee.

Now is your chance to check out a screening of the finished documentary, “Across Enemy Lines,” in early June. Organizers of the event, Community Liberation Programs, the Shaka Shakur Freedom Campaign, and the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, have secured a theatre at 518 Valencia (Eric Quezada Center for Culture and Politics).

After the screening, stay for a panel with an impressive lineup including:

  • Linda Evans, Anti-Imperialist Activist and Former Political Prisoner; and
  • Sanyika Bryant of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement;
  • and more (list still in formation)

Schedule an Screening and Panel!

The Shaka Shakur Freedom Campaign is now scheduling screenings of our new documentary, released worldwide on December 5, 2025, with a panel of those involved in the film’s production and other organizers and volunteers with the SSFC.

To support the legal fund, we request a donation that is negotiable depending on your institution or organization’s finances. If you’re interested in scheduling an event, fill out the form below!
